Synthesis of chemicals and materials

There is an urgent need for novel climate-friendly routes for the synthesis of chemicals, catalysts, and materials. We are working on the production of basic chemicals such as hydrogen, synthesis gas, methane, methanol, olefins, acetylene, and ammonia. In most cases the process requires an appropriate catalyst and advanced reaction engineering. Chemical and physical models are developed that facilitate scale-up from laboratory to industrial scale.
