Dr. Erisa Saraci leads Cat4Sus—Catalysis for Sustainable Chemicals and Energies at KIT. Her group takes a holistic approach to catalyst design, uniting smart materials, operando spectroscopy, and reaction engineering to turn CO₂, biomass, and green H₂ into high-value molecules and fuels. By bridging fundamental discovery with scale-aware development, Cat4Sus advances Power-to-X, circular-carbon, and electrified process concepts with academic and industrial partners.
