International Symposium on Modeling of Exhaust-Gas After-Treatment

After very positive responses on the previous six International Symposia on Modeling of Exhaust-Gas After-Treatment, the seventh symposium will be held at the same location in Bad Herrenalb on September 11-13, 2022.
All relevant systems will be covered by the symposium: Diesel Oxidation Catalysts, Three-Way Catalysts, SCR-techniques, NOx-Storages Catalysts, Particulate Filters, as well as control and related topics. The symposium’s purpose is to support the exchange of state-of-the-art and novel modeling and simulation techniques, fundamental mechanistic studies, experimental model validation as well as technical applications of modeling and simulation among researchers, scientists, and engineers from industry and academia.
The location, program and low conference fee is set up to boost open discussions and new collaborations. Introductory plenary lectures will provide newcomers to the field with an overview of the state-of-the- art. Contributed presentations and posters will provide experts with a platform to discuss current developments and most urgent open problems.
Mino Woo and Marc Stettler, Imperial College London, received the MODEGAT VI "Best Poster" award for their poster presentation "A feasibility study of artificial neural networks for modelling catalytic oxidations in a metallic foam reactor". Congratulations!
