Due to extensive construction work on the Albtal Railway between Ettlingen and Bad Herrenalb and between Ettlingen and Ittersbach

the S1 line between Ettlingen Albgaubad and Bad Herrenalb and the S11 line between Ettlingen Albgaubad and Ittersbach are completely closed to train traffic.

All trains coming from Karlsruhe end at Ettlingen Albgaubad and return to Karlsruhe. The change between the trams and the buses of the substitute service already takes place in Ettlingen Stadt. As far as possible, the substitute service serves all stops on the way. Between Busenbach and Ettlingen Spinnerei a shuttle service with minibuses is operated. The station in Bad Herrenalb cannot be reached, a substitute stop will be set up on Ettlinger Straße near the former grocery store near Bahnhofstraße.
