Geocaching wine tasting Maikammer/Pfalz

A wine tasting in Maikammer an der Weinstraße/Pfalz, but not in the winery, but as a geocaching route through the vineyards around Maikammer, and on a beautiful September day!

This year's working group excursion took place directly after the alumni meeting and led us through the vineyards between Maikammer and Hambach Castle in beautiful fall weather.

The geocaching route took us to four wine tasting stations in the middle of the vineyards, at each station we learned a lot about the respective wine and the background of viticulture from videos and knowledge quizzes.

The hearty snack at the end of the tour was a welcome break for all participants, bringing a wonderful day to a close.
