The blue buttons below are links to all the necessary information on the current courses offered by the Wilhelm Group, the teaching in the current semester also includes access to the ILIAS courses.
In addition, you can find out about possible student research projects/theses or obtain information about internships:
Lectures currently offered by the entire institute/faculty can be found in the central course catalog of the KIT.

Are you interested in the synthesis or characterization of polymers?
Would you like to work in an interdisciplinary group of synthetic chemists, physicists and engineers ?
Then our group"Polymeric Materials, Prof. Wilhelm, at the Institute ITCP is the right place for you!
Write to us(Prof. M. Wilhelm, Dr. N. Dingenouts) or drop by directly
Here you will find a short selection of possible topics!
Feel free to ask personally if you cannot find the right topic among the selection of open/possible topics!
Get excited about the interdisciplinary field of polymer chemistry and get an impression of the lecture "Introduction into the Chemistry and Physics of Macromolecules", which was conducted in on-demand streaming during Corona times SummerSemester 2020 through SummerSemester 2021, but is now back in attendance.
If you are interested, please register for the lecture in the Iliaskurs, either via the course catalog or via the first menu item "Teaching in ...." in the upper menu (First point on the left) .
In addition to the links above with current information, here is another brief presentation of all the courses offered in the Wilhelm Working Group over various semesters.
Teachings in polymer chemistry (Prof. Wilhelm)
Polymerchemistry is offered as an compulsory optional subject in the advanced study, in Diploma of chemistry as well as in Master of Chemistry. In addition, it is part of the Module 9C in Bachelor of Chemistry. An Overview over polymer chemistry in Bachelor- and Master degree can be found in german at the homepage of the institute.
One part of the compulsory optional subject polymer chemistry is the practical course polymer chemistry , the other part are lectures from the field of polymer chemistry.
Beside the lectures, there are also offers for advanced practical courses, diploma-, bachelor-, master- or PhD-thesis. Requests please via E-Mail directly to Prof. Wilhelm.
For informational purpose, this list includes all possible lecture of Prof. M. Wilhelm, not only the current ones. Skripts are normally available in English but please be aware that the usual language is German!
